Apache Lake Marina and Resort is easy to get to from Gold Canyon Arizona. The attraction is considered by many to be central Arizona's most complete lake facility. The facility is surrounded by the Superstition Wilderness and the Three Bar Wildlife Area. Apache Lake is 17 miles long and a wonderful site for boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, camping, and all forms of outdoor recreation. Desert wildlife is abundant in the area. The lake's secluded coves and painted walls are home to javelina, big horn sheep, eagle, deer, and a host of desert wildlife. Small mouth and large mouth bass are the prized catches of the lake.
