In, and around, the Gold Canyon Arizona area one may see a group of javalina from time to time. Most often we will see a group with adults — mom and dad — and some children. At times the group will have multiple ages of kids, some younger, and some that look a bit like they could be teenagers.
But on this particular morning there was only one large adult to be seen as he (or she) seemed to be foraging about for food.
Gold Canyon Arizona is an area that is wonderful for spotting desert wildlife. It’s close enough to the heart of Phoenix that its still convenient for residents to head in for concerts, restaurants and shopping — but its far enough away from the hustle bustle, that one can spot wildlife and enjoy the desert animals.
