Residential home sales in the Gold Canyon Arizona area for December 2012 showed higher activity than November 2012 home sales. As has been the case for the past few months, the increase can be attributed to the fact the “seasonal visitors” are back to Arizona – escaping the cold climates where they live during the summer months. The average price per square foot for the homes sold in December 2012 was only slightly higher than for similar sales in November 2012. Distressed** home average sales were up for December 2012, when compared to November 2012, however they sold at lower cost per square foot prices.
