Rejuvenation Institute of Gold Canyon has come to Gold Canyon. Dr. Carol McCalment , Chief Medical Officer, the owner, has a MD, as well as a NMD. The clinic is located at 6022 S Kings Ranch Road in Gold Canyon. You can reach them at 480-671-0879.  The clinic is trained in conventional medicine as well as natural medicine, and includes all modalities such as botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutritional IV therapy, spinal manipulation, nutritional counseling, and acupuncture. They work with natural medicines, but are licensed to write prescriptions when needed. For first timers they offer a free 20 minute consultation that allows someone new to the clinic, or to naturopathic medicine to meet them and feel comfortable. This clinic will be a really good new addition to the Gold Canyon Arizona medical community services.

Gold Canyon has a number of excellent hospital facilities that are close by.

Banner Baywood Medical Center (Power Road and Baywood Avenue, Mesa): 743 physicians have privileges. Specialities include a sleep center, orthopedics, emergency medicine, therapy services, pain management and a stroke unit. The adjacent Banner Baywood Heart Hospital has 473 physicians with privileges.

Banner Desert Medical Center (Dobson Road and Southern Avenue, Mesa): 1,200 physicians have privileges. Specialties include cardiology, cancer, women's health, pediatrics, neurology, surgery, pulmonary disease, infectious disease, urology and cardiothoracic surgery.

Banner Mesa Medical Center (Country Club Drive and Brown Road): 667 physicians have privileges. This hospital will be replaced by Banner Gateway Medical Center on Sept. 18.

Banner Gateway (Higley Road and U.S. 60, Gilbert): Has credentialed 150 physicians so far. Specialties include obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, cancer care, plastic surgery, podiatry and vascular surgery.

Chandler Regional Medical Center (Dobson and Frye roads): 782 physicians have privileges.

Gilbert Hospital (Power and Ray roads): About 135 physicians are credentialed to work at hospital, which focuses on emergency care. Other specialties are inpatient services, outpatient diagnostic radiology, endoscopy, orthopedics, gastro-intestinal services, urology, plastic surgery, podiatry, cardiology, internal medicine and general surgery.

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (Val Vista Drive and Loop 202): 562 physicians have privileges. Specialties offered at both hospitals include critical care medicine, dermatology, electrophysiology, emergency medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, pulmonary disease, radiology, rheumatology, urology, and vascular surgery.

Mesa General Hospital (Mesa and University drives): 329 physicians have privileges. Services and specialties include nephrology, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, robotic surgery and respiratory therapy.

Mountain Vista Medical Center (Southern Avenue and Crismon Road, Mesa): The hospital, which opened in July 2007, has 213 physicians on staff. Specialties include emergency medicine, a heart center, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, dedicated orthopedic and cardiovascular surgery rooms, outpatient surgery, a women's center with labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum rooms, wound care and pain management.

Tempe St. Luke's Hospital (Mill Avenue south of Apache Boulevard): About 310 physicians have privileges. Services and specialties include chest pain center, dialysis, sleep disorders, sports medicine, and interventional radiology.
