Entrada del Oro is a master planned community located East of Gold Canyon Arizona on Highway 60. The community is only about 55 minutes East of the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Currently two builders, Engle and K. Hovnanian that are building homes in a variety of sizes and floor plans.

The area offers views of the Superstition Mountains, and native desert. A tot lot is in the community. There is a proposed school site in the vicinity, and current schools for the area are available within the Gold Canyon area. Golf and hiking are nearby. The community is close to all the services and conveniences of Gold Canyon, as well as new retail power centers available off of Highway 60 at Signal Butte. 

Within Entrada del Oro there are multiple communities. Engle homes is building The Villages and The Foothills. K. Hovanian is building Escalante and Paseo. As of spring 2009 the builders are still building new homes, and there are also resells on the market for sale.
