Vista Point is a popular gated community that is located directly across the street from the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. The community is a small cluster of both single and two story homes ranging from approximately 1,100 to 1,900 square feet. One winds through the community as the homes rise up to the top of a hillside overlooking the entire Gold Canyon and East Phoenix Valley area. The homes are on small lots that is prefect for low maintenance. There is a homeowners association and a community pool.

Peralta Trails is a suburb community of Gold Canyon, Arizona east on Highway 60. The community was developed by Del Webb under the name of Desert Glory and is an all age community. The amenities have been simplified to allow for more open desert land and common area between areas where homes have been constructed. The development includes a community pool, community center with fitness equipment and cozy library.
(However note, the community was built in three phases. Phase one does not have rights to use the swimming pool and community club house. Only phases two and three have these privileges.
This is something to be sure to check if you are planning to buy a home in the community- find out if your home will have the pool , fitness center and library rights so you are not disappointed once you own the home - if these things are important to you.)
Hiking and walking trails are in abundance and are accessible right from walking outside one's front door. Golf courses are nearby. There is not a single street light in the community which makes for some terrific star watching evenings from one's own yard.
Peralta Trails Elementary school is located right in the community.

Gold Canyon East is a community of several developments and neighborhoods in Gold Canyon, Arizona in the area east on Highway 60, north on Kings Ranch Road and east on Don Donnley. Some of the communities include Lennar I and II, Superstition Vistas, Tesoro Townhomes, Thunder Ridge, Toscano Villas, as well as an area of custom homes and lots. There are resells in the various neighborhoods.
Some of the developments (Tesoro Townhomes and Toscano Villas) have a community pool and spa with the beautiful Superstition Mountain views in the distance. There are hiking and walking trails accessible right outside one's front door from most of the community.
There are no street lights which allows for dark skies at night and the ability to star gaze right from one's own yard.
The area offers spectacular views of the Superstition Mountains, amazing Arizona sunsets, and serene native desert. Desert wildlife is commonplace with deer, quails and all sorts of other entertaining desert animals.
