- The average Gold Canyon Arizona sales price per sq foot in February was down only slightly from the January averages. The average price per square foot of sold homes in February in Gold Canyon was $118.94 – in January 2010 it was $121.24. The average price of sold homes in February in Gold Canyon was $274,759. The average price of homes sold in January 2010 was $313,839.
- The number of Gold Canyon homes sold in February 2010 was 46, which is a slight increase over the 41 sold in January 2010. (Of the 46 sold, 23 of the properties were “distressed”.) A year ago, February 2009 saw 32 homes sold with 11 of those being “distressed”. The number of Gold Canyon homes sold in a 30 day period continues to be better than a year ago, but the number of properties being sold that are “distressed” is still on the rise.
- During February 2010 there were 411 homes on the MLS in Gold Canyon Arizona. February 2009 saw 482 homes on the market, as comparison. Based on current sales activity the 411 homes currently on the market are considered to be a 9 month inventory of homes in the area.
